I can confirm the issue is NOT related to my wifi router or internet connection as I have about half a dozen other devices that regularly run Netflix without any problems at all. The Windows 10 Netflix App also has major issues (just trying to search for a title returns a "whoops something went wrong" error message). I receive the same error message regardless of the browser used (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, IE). Thanks.I am having the exact same issue here (XPS 13 Kaby Lake, i5, 8GB, 256GB SSD). I wanted to see if anyone else had this issue, or has any suggestions for things I could try, before I called Netflix support. The browser error seems to be a Silverlight or other encoder/codec error, but I have no clue what could be causing it at this point. The App error seems to be some sort of connection error, but I have tried it on 3 different networks, and the same error occurs. My laptop also has the "N" edition of Windows 10, and the Netflix app and both Microsoft browsers work fine (even at 4420 bitrate), so this is a localized issue, but I am not sure what to attempt to troubleshoot next.

Checking for Windows Updates (I do this manually everyday anyway).Logging out and back into Netflix on the App and the Microsoft browsers.Reinstalling the Netflix App from the Windows store.
